About Us

We are a small, family-owned and operated organic vegetable farm located in the heart of South County, Rhode Island. Since 2017, we’ve been growing fresh produce using sustainable and environmentally conscious farming practices.

Our name, Sumiré — the Japanese word for violet — honors both our heritage and the Rhode Island state flower. We are proud to bring Japanese agricultural practices and produce varieties to our South County community.
